Who we are
This site and the Heavyspin service are run by Born Creative Records ("we", "us"). This policy explains how we handle personal information.
What we collect
When you apply: your artist name, first name, email, country, social handle, song link, release details, who your music is for, the page themes you like, your listener and promotion ranges, your plan choice, when you'd like to start and how you heard about us.
When you sign: your full name, email, the time you signed, your IP address and browser type, and a fingerprint of the exact agreement you saw. This is how electronic signatures are proven.
When you pay: Stripe handles your card. We see the payment status and the last 4 digits, never the full number.
When we work together: your songs, artwork, release dates and anything you send us for your page, plus your page's post and view numbers.
What we don't collect
No ad trackers, no analytics cookies, no selling or renting your data. The application form keeps a draft of your answers in your own browser, so a reload never loses them. It never leaves your device until you press send.
Why we use it
To review your application and reply, to prepare and keep your agreement, to bill you, to run and report on your page, and to meet legal and tax rules. We'll email you about your application and your page. No marketing lists.
Who helps us
We use a few trusted services to run Heavyspin. They only get what they need to do their job:
Vercel hosts this website. Stripe takes payments. Resend sends our emails. Slack alerts our team when you apply or sign. Post Bridge schedules posts to TikTok. Google Fonts serves the fonts on this site, so Google sees your IP address when a page loads.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if our business is ever sold. They must keep this policy.
How long we keep it
Applications we don't move forward with: up to 2 years, then deleted. Client records, agreements and invoices: for as long as we work together, then as long as tax and legal rules require (usually up to 7 years).
Your choices
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, fix it, or delete it. Email hello@heavyspinhq.com and we'll reply within 30 days.
Some records, like signed agreements and invoices, we must keep for legal reasons even if you ask us to delete them. We'll tell you if that applies.
Security
We keep data in a small number of secure systems and limit who can see it. No system is perfect, but we'll tell you quickly if something goes wrong that affects you.
Where your data lives
We're based in the United States, and our providers store data in the US. If you apply from another country, your information is handled in the US under this policy.
Children
Heavyspin is for artists 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top. Big changes that affect clients, we'll email you about.
